Danke Shun! The Road to MTV EMA awards Frankfurt Germany!

The place that exists in my mind, call it THE DREAM is a place where I travel on the regular. Not only through the radio show that I host called: Art Attack which covers Arts, Culture & lifestyle and another show (double for my trouble) called Tea Time to Lunch Time but I would like to travel the four corners of the world: North, South, East & West in every quarter of the year!

Allow me to dream, it costs me not a CENT to get SENT !

Whilst travelling I enjoy watching different cultural non-verbal language and yes listening to the musical sounds and watching the lip movement of a new language is a joy to me. How we as people can still communicate and make friends beyond all speaking in Tongues!

The last time I went to Germany was three years ago and the stay lasted for six weeks.  Nothing compares to flying to another continent, via another one "Just for a weekend."

So this African girl had fun flying via Asia (Dubai) and final destination was Europe (Germany) *pouts*
Airport food, rephrase: Emirates Airline Food is quite a treat. I know, I have flown SAA and other airlines whose names I cant promote. Big Ups to the Royalty kinda treatement we were given on Emirates and oooh so much foot room space. The airline is rocka's...yes the flights tend to take you all around the globe and back and you loose track of day & time but its alright, my selection of film, music, drinks and snacks was ON POINT!.

Frankfurt Sheraton Hotel (5 star, thank you very much!) had quite a simple and elegantly set up BUFFET station for the breakfasts. But I have learnt that all hotel buffet stations are rather similar with different brands, what I do enjoy is the various flavouring in their cooked meals especially with things like meat balls, fish & chutney.

The trip was just for a weekend and so I HAD to have a Sunday lunch. It was accompanied by the FRANKFURT choice of Drink called Apple Wine. It looked like apple juice but smelt like sorghum beer and tasted like our local Mqombothi (traditional beer). While theirs was made with apples our is made with yeast.  The Bitter taste in the day to day German meals is very potent. A rather acquired tasted!

My lunch was turkey, beetroot and dumplings (a mix of potatoes and mealie-meal)

A simple lunch meal was crushed potato (under the fish) and onions.  I did not have enough gum in my bag to rid the potent onion smell and I was NOT going to walk around in Frankfurt with onion breath. No thank you.  And I dont know about you but when in a foreign land and speaking different languages, one tends tends to speak slower and moves closer to the next person so keeping your breath fresh is a MUST :-)
